TSC2 Help Desk is a client/server network application designed for Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine (MSDE).

With a client/server design the "client" software (the TSC2 Help Desk program) can be run on multiple networked computers while the data is safely maintained on a single network "server" running Microsoft SQL Server or SQL Server Desktop Engine.

By utilizing SQL Server as the "database manager" your data is protected from workstation crashes, connectivity issues and other problems that commonly cause data corruption in file based database solutions.

For small network installations the "server" (Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine) can be installed on one of the computers running the "client" software.

TSC2 Help Desk includes a free copy of the Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine. The Microsoft SQL Server Desktop Engine is a version of Microsoft SQL Server designed for workgroup environments of up to 15 "client" computers. For larger network installations the use of Microsoft SQL Server Standard is recommended.
