Email Command Server is an add-on component for TSC2 Help Desk
that processes work order submissions sent by email and through
the TSC2 Help Desk
web
interface.
The Email Command Server works by monitoring a standard POP3 or IMAP4 email account. End users send email to the account with commands in the message subject (requests from the web interface include XML command attachments). The Email Command Server retrieves the messages and takes the appropriate action for each command.
Features
The Email Command Server can be run as a regular windows application or as a Service on Windows NT, 2000 and XP.
